October unemployment rate falls, lowest since September 2008

The
Indiana Department of Workforce Development released it October unemployment report, and Huntington County now stands at 6.5%, the lowest since September 2008 when it stood at 6.3%. Huntington County rate hit its peak at 14.3% in June 2009.
"This is very, very encouraging news for Huntington County residents," said
Mark Wickersham, executive director, Huntington County Economic Development.
