Town of Roanoke
The Town of Roanoke, Indiana, is ideally located on U.S. 24 halfway between Huntington and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Roanoke is 5 (five) minutes from I-69 at the southwest junction of the I-469 by-pass around Fort Wayne and 15 (fifteen) minutes from Fort Wayne International Airport. Roanoke is home to American Specialty Insurance Company and a 5-star, world class restaurant, The House of Joseph Decuis. The town was once a fishing and hunting area for the Miami Indians and grew commercially with the coming of the Wabash & Erie Canal and later the railroad and modern day four-lane U.S.24.
