The Town of Warren developed on the banks of the Salamonie River in the south eastern section of Huntington County. Served by two exits off I-69 (Exit 73 & Exit 78) Warren proudly announces that it is "Three miles on your way." Exit 73 on I-69 is the last remaining undeveloped interchange between Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Town's development was heavily influenced by the history of Indiana's petroleum industry. The historic Trenton Oil Field is just south of the community. Warren hosts the museum collection in honor of The U.S.S. Salamonie, A)-26, Cimarron Class Fleet Oiler. Warren is also the location of The United Methodist Memorial Home.
