HCED launches mobile site for growing base of mobile users

Recently, Huntington County Economic Development marked a “ribbon cutting” of its own – the launch of its new mobile website.

“We created the mobile site with the site selector, our target audience, in mind,” said Mark Wickersham, executive director.

“Over the last year, we’ve been monitoring our website analytics closely and realized visits from mobile devices had increased exponentially. We also know that a growing number of site selectors – as is the general public – are working from their phones and tablets, so we wanted to provide them with a quick and easy way to view our information. The mobile site is just one more way we’re trying to stay ahead of the curve.”

From the home page, visitors can choose from four tabs: Sites and Buildings, Incentives, Map Room or Contact Us. In addition, both the Map Room and Sites and Buildings pages have been redesigned to make information more accessible.

Check out the mobile site via your smart phone or other mobile device at hcued.com.
