Perfection Wheel invests in new equipment, adds jobs

Perfection Wheel, LLC, of Huntington, Indiana, announced today an investment of $130,000 for the purchase of new manufacturing equipment, creating 5 new jobs while retaining 30 existing positions at their facility.

The Huntington-based entrepreneurial start-up company was founded in 2010 by Roger McClellan and officially opened for business early in 2011. Perfection Wheel is a re-manufacturer of aluminum wheels for automotive after-market consumers, wholesale parts distributors, auto body shops, tire stores and other automotive dealerships.

“Our business continues to grow, and we could not be more excited about the support the city and county have extended to us,” said Roger McClellan, managing director/president of Perfection Wheel.

Mark Wickersham, executive director, Huntington County Economic Development, added, “This is yet another example of a facility which not long ago was simply a vacant building, but is now a very successful manufacturer. It is always encouraging to see local entrepreneurs prosper in our community.”

Mayor Brooks Fetters and County Commissioner Tom Wall attended the company’s announcement and added their congratulations on behalf of the community.
