Site Selection.com Recognizes Huntington's 2010 Economic Development Efforts
Site Selection.Com has recently announced their rankings for the nation's top economic development efforts for 2010, according to the Governor's Cup awards released by Site Selection Magazine.
The organization recognized Huntington, Indiana as tied for 25th in the top 100 micropolitan areas studied nationally. 'It is exciting to see Huntington receive national recognition for our economic development efforts again in 2010," said Mark Wickersham, Executive Director of Huntington County Economic Development. He added, "The true heroes who made this story happen are the employers in our Community who are working so hard to operate successful businesses and in the process, employ our workforce. It is also a demonstration of what can be accomplished in a Community when the elected officials and agency staff are all working together as a team to best serve the public."
