Huntington Aluminum Celebrates with Ribbon Cutting

Huntington, IN- Local community leaders gathered on Thursday, September 8th, 2011 to celebrate the opening of Huntington Aluminum in the Riverforks Industrial Park in Huntington, Indiana.  Representatives from city and county government offices were in attendance, as well as an employee from Congressman Marlin Stutzman's office. 
 
Mark Wickersham, director of the Huntington County Economic Development Corporation opened the event and was followed by Roger Kilty, President of Huntington Aluminum, who expressed gratitude to Huntington County and City officials, and commended the collaborative efforts put forth in assuring their business would be based in Huntington.  Remarks were also given by Huntington Mayor Steve Updike and County Commissioner Tom Wall.
 
Following the ribbon cutting, attendees were given an overview of the facility and were able to see aluminum processing in action.
