HCEDC Recognized for Excellence

Site Selection Magazine has again released their rankings of the top 100 small market economic development groups in the nation.  The Huntington County Economic Development Corporation (HCEDC) earned the 16th spot among 520 groups evaluated nationally.

 

Mark Wickersham, executive director for HCEDC, is pictured presenting copies of the recognition to Mayor Richard Strick and HCEDC Board Chairman, Eric Fawcett at the recent luncheon for the Lime City Development Committee, hosted by Fusion Chemical Company of Huntington.

 

This is the eighth time in ten years HCEDC has earned Site Selection's recognition, placing HCEDC in the top 3% of all EDC groups nationally.

 

"Economic development is a team effort and again this year this type of national recognition demonstrates we're getting things done in Huntington County," Wickersham said.
