Golfo di Napoli Dairy & Caffe Celebrate Grand Opening

The Golfo di Napoli Dairy and Caffe celebrated it's official Grand Opening Friday, August 23, 2019.  Hundreds of local officials and members of the Warren, Indiana Chamber of Commerce, joined Company officials and the County's economic development team in congratulating and thanking the Italian Company for investing in Huntington County.

The facility is a creation of Italian entrepreneur Antonio Somma, owner of Golfo di Napoli Dairy, the first organic cheese plant in Indiana.  The effort was a collaboration with an interior design studio, Bilodunk and Italian dairy equipment company Comat.  In addition to the cheese production plant, the eatery and it's full menu will also be available for private event bookings as well as business catering.

Mozzarell, ricotta and burrata are among the Company's premier products.  The $9.5 million plant has been under construction on a site on Indiana State Road 5, just south of Exit 278 on I-69 in Huntington County, Indiana.  Under the direction of the Huntington County Economic Development Corporation, the property achieved a PRIME Site Certification from the State of Indiana, mitigating any risks associated with purchasing the land for development.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation, the Huntington County Board of Commissioners and the Redevelopment Commission of the Town of Warren collaborated to offer incentive support toward the project.
