Bendix Celebrates 35 Years in Huntington

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, LLC., is celebrating 35 years of doing business in Huntington. The Company first opened in Huntington in 1980 under the name Bendix Heavy Vehicle Systems Group with 30 employees.  Today the Company has grown to be the second largest manufacturing employer in Huntington County with nearly 500 employees at 4 facilities in Huntington.
 
Munich, Germany-based Knorr-Bremse Group is their parent Company with their North-American Headquarters in Elyria, Ohio. The Company's most recent investment in Huntington created the Bendix Brake Shoe Remanufacturing Center, employing nearly 45 workers.
