Our Sunday Visitor Commits to the Health of Their Workforce

Our Sunday Visitor Corporation of Huntington (OSV) officially cut the ribbon to open their new wellness and fitness center on February 19.  The facility also includes an employee lounge.  "OSV is genuinely committed to the health and well-being of their employees," said Mark Wickersham, executive director of Huntington County Economic Development Corporation.  "It isn't a simple case of trying to keep healthcare costs down.  The company truly cares and is engaged everyday in a genuine commitment to their employees," he added.

OSV president and CEO Kyle Hamilton explained a group of six OSV employees, affectionately referred to as the "Dream Team," presented recommendations to the Company for design ideas for the new facility.  Those ideas are now a reality at the plant.  The center includes a variety of exercise equipment, a walking track, and an employee lounge with amenities which encourage employee creativity.

"OSV also did a great job using local contractors where possible," Wickersham remarked.  The Desk & Copy Stop of Huntington was the vendor for their furniture.  Accent Interiors of Warren was the vendor selected for floor coverings.  Travis Mounsey of Huntington did tile work in the center.

OSV employs nearly 300.
