Huntington to Host Indiana State Championships for Robotics Competition

 
Indiana FIRST, the state-wide organization which coordinates the Indiana Robotics Championship Competition has announced the venue for the 2017 Championship will be Huntington North High School, hosted by Team THRUST of Huntington.  The event will feature 32 of the State's finest high school robotics teams.  The groups include over 2,000 high school students, coaches and mentors. Between 500-1,000 family members of participants are also anticipated attending the weekend event in April.

Our Community is very, very honored to host the event and we offer our congratulations and support to our talented students and their mentor Chris Elston.  The opportunity is a result of their commitment to hard work and excellence.  We look forward to rolling out the red carpet to welcome the State's young talent," said Mark Wickersham executive director of Huntington County Economic Development Corporation.
