Helena Breaks Ground On New Facility

Helena Chemical broke ground today for a new regional blending, distribution and storage facility on approximately 30 acres in Huntington's Park 24 Industrial Park.  The Company anticipates investing over $21 million in the plant and is expected to employ up to 20 people by 2013.  The company plans to open the facility in spring of 2012.  Helena Chemical was founded in 1957 and is a Tennessee-based agriculture distribution company that employs 3,500 people nationwide and a division of Tokyo based Marubeni Corporation.
