First Farmers Break Ground October 7, 2010 Report September 26, 2010Members of First Farmers Bank and Trust broke ground for a new bank on Hauenstein Road along with Huntington County Economic Development's executive director Mark Wickersham. Also on hand to turn ground were county council member John Hacker, city council members Keith Eller, Erv Ebersole, and Joe Blomeke, Huntington County Economic Development Board President Jeff Souder, Russ Felderman of Felderman Design and Build, Huntington County Chamber of Commerce president Steve Kimmel, First Farmers chief operation officer David Eikenberry, assistant vice president of mortgage lending Kathy Jones, senior project manager of Felderman Design Dan Eads, loan assistant Shari Spahr, senior commercial lender Doug Wilcox, and senior vice president of First Farmers Bank Mark Wolf. Construction of the 2,600 square foot new bank is set to be completed January 1, 2011. The bank will have drive-up service as well as an ATM on site.
