Duke Energy Contributes to Economic Development

Douglas Esamann, President of Duke Energy Indiana, and Laura Sheets, District Manager for Duke Energy's Northern Indiana Region presented the Huntington County Economic Development with a charitable contribution of $3,000.00 on Thursday morning to contribute to the advancement of economic development in Huntington.

 

Duke Energy believes that the health and welfare of communities in which they work is directly tied to their commitment to sustainability. One way they help sustain communities is through The Duke Energy Foundation. The Foundation allows Duke Energy to directly impact the quality of life in communities by sharing their time through volunteer efforts, their knowledge in leadership and financial support through grants to charitable organizations.
