CSP Breaks Ground on $33.5 million Project in Huntington

Huntington County Economic Development Corporation client Continental Structural Plastics (CSP), officially broke ground May 10, 2016, for a major expansion of their Huntington facility in Riverfork Industrial Park.  The company plans to invest $33,502,000.00 to create an expansion of 135,000 square feet of manufacturing space.  CSP anticipates creating nearly 160 new jobs with the announcement.

Huntington County Economic Development Corporation has facilitated 90 industrial projects over the last 8 years.  The CSP project represents the largest investment of private capital during that time period.  "CSP originally opened in Huntington in 2010 and has continued to grow and invest in Huntington," said Mark Wickersham, executive director of Huntington County Economic Development Corporation. "CSP has quickly become a tremendous corporate citizen and we really appreciate their commitment to Huntington," Wickersham added.  "This has been an excellent example of how collaborative relationships result in business success.  The State, County and City all have worked hard to help this opportunity become a reality," Wickersham concluded.

Numerous elected officials were on hand to thank and congratulate CSP for the project.
