Cinergy MetroNet Opens their Doors October 7, 2010 Report September 30, 2010 Cinergy MetroNet held a grand opening celebration with over 100 people in attendance to welcome the new company and be the first to look at their newly renovated downtown office. Cinergy MetroNet is offering Digital TV, High Speed Internet, and Full-Feature Phone services to the city. The fiber-optic services that Cinergy is offering places Huntington in the highest technological echelon of cities. Cinergy MetroNet will install 10.5 million dollars of fiber-optic infrastructure when completed. Cinergy MetroNet President John Cinelli and Vice President Kevin Stelmach were on hand at the grand opening to invite the community into their new store. Huntington Mayor Steve Updike and Huntington County Economic Development's Mark WIckersham were also on hand to give speeches welcoming Cinergy MetroNet to the city.
