The 2009 HCUED Business Appreciation Luncheon will be held on Monday, December 14, at Noon at the Huntington University Dining Commons. Tickets are $20 each. Reservations can be made by calling Helen at HCUED at 260-356-5688. The featured speaker will be Mr. Larry Ingraham, President of Ingraham Associates, Carmel, Indiana. Mr. Ingraham served as former Indiana Governor Robert Orr's respresentative in Tokyo, Japan and played a key role in bringing the first waves of Japanese industries to Indiana, including Subaru/Isuzu and Toyota. Mr. Ingraham will share his insights into the future of Indiana's economic development efforts and ideas about helping Huntington County better prepare itself to market internationally.In addition, HCUED will recognize several local industries which made commitments to grow in Huntington County during 2009.
