September Unemployment at 3.8%

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development in cooperation with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has released the September Unemployment Report.  The rate for workers living in Huntington County, regardless of the County of employment, is 3.8%, down slightly from 3.9% in August.

According to job posting site, Indeed.com, over 100 job openings are currently posted within 10 miles of downtown Huntington, with over 2,000 jobs posted within 25 miles of Huntington.
