INTRODUCTION
HCUED, the Huntington County United Economic Development Corporation, was created in 1997 as a County-wide economic development organization, designed to better collaborate and coordinate a variety of economic development activities throughout Huntington County. HCUED functions as a "one-stop shop" for all industrial and economic development needs in Huntington County. HCUED is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as an approved tax exempt organization under IRS Code Section 501 (c) (3).
VISION STATEMENT
HCUED will work to make Huntington County an even better place to live and work by supporting and growing existing business and by attracting new business investment and higher paying jobs to Huntington County.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of HCUED is to maintain a unified economic development effort to promote opportunities for job retention, expansion and to attract new business to Huntington County.
PRIMARY FOCUS
HCUED is primarily focused on industrial and major commercial development activities. HCUED supports those goals and it's overall vision and mission statements by coordinating:
*opportunities for financial incentives for business development
*marketing assistance for site and building development activities
*with zoning, planning, and other regulatory and taxing entities throughout Huntington County
