About Us
In 1997, the Huntington County United Economic Development Corporation
(HCUED) was established to collaborate and coordinate economic
development activities throughout Huntington County.
Today, we do business as Huntington County Economic Development and
serve as the one-stop shop for all industrial and economic development
needs—from coordinating incentives and marketing sites to navigating
regulatory questions.
HCUED is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as an approved tax-exempt organization under IRS Code Section 501(c)(3).
Primary focus
Huntington County Economic Development is primarily focused on industrial and major commercial development activities. Throughout Huntington County, our agency supports those goals by coordinating:
- Opportunities for financial incentives for business development
- Marketing assistance for site and building development activites
- Zoning, planning and other regulatory and taxing entities
